On 11th of November 2017 we set Summer Library in the backyard of the Center of culture in Prilep. Summer Library is an urban intervention that consists of wooden modules produced in a local carpentry. The construction was made by 40 architecture and wood processing students, as well as medical school students – department wood. All of them were able to acquire skills for design and working with wood. The library will serve the Center of culture for the events organized throughout the summer time with the goal to transfer the activities from the inside to the outer part of the building, revive the backyard and serve as a scenography for theater plays, poetry reading and other events during summer.
The architect of the project is Sara Simoska.
The wooden modules were produced by the carpenter Kiril Stojanoski.
